Born and raised on the West Coast, I was your average Californian youth: Skateboarder/Musician. Except for the fact that I wore a suit/tie/briefcase look most days by choice, no matter the activity. In the words of Glenn O'Brien, I was "the guy who showed up to the pool party in a linen suit".
I attended FIDM in San Francisco, CA where I graduated with a degree in Apparel Design. Studying in San Francisco truly inspired my creative process, and ultimately brought me to New York to begin my career in Menswear Design and Development.
Shortly after moving to New York I took an internship with Theory, working closely under the Head Menswear Designers. While interning, I was even given the opportunity to create my first commercial print story to work into that season's collection.
After I finished with Theory, I took a job designing menswear for BESPOKEN which gave me a unique perspective into the world of English Tailored Sportswear / Formalwear with a bit of Street Rock energy. There I worked on a wide range of design projects, including: seasonal apparel design, fabric development, various types of print projects, and other special design assignments. During my second year at Bespoken, GQ Magazine awarded us the 'Best New Menswear Designers in America,' where we were given the opportunity to design a capsule collection for GAP (available in 180 doors internationally).
After Bespoken, I designed Menswear for Ralph Lauren Corporation, focusing my efforts on designing exclusive products for various domestic and international markets.
Since RL, I've worked on smaller design projects and while focusing my full-time efforts as a Senior Product Development Manger for H Halston and Highline Collective Mens.
